Download file name: Positions.zipPositions.xls is an example file to demonstrate crossing over events on the X chromosome in two real cases. The maternal X-chromatides are tabulated next to each other as they were just before the moment of meiosis. The reconstruction of the constellation was possible by comparison with the paternal XSTR profile (not shown). 6 sisters and 4 brothers have been tested with X-STR markers in different regions of the X chromosome.
